In Time

A remarkable idea made rather unremarkable with average weak plot development, but Cillian is still a god. Good enough. 3/5

Beginners

Plummer is magnificent and the writing wonderful in this raw, unflinchingly emotional indie drama. Striking. 4/5

Conan O'Brien Can't Stop

While I admire Conan as a performer I have to say my opinion of him as a person went way down. Hrmm. 3/5

Take Shelter

OMG... this is the best film I've seen in a while. Completely gripping, suspenseful, & brilliant. I'm stunned. Michael Shannon gives the performance of his life in this. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for the whole 2 hours. Seriously... watch this and then RENT IT. If you like the trailer you'll LOVE it. 5/5

Dirty Girl

What a surprise! This wasn't what I expected at all - a very poignant, heart-wrenching & lovely coming-of-age film. This film also had one of the most beautiful & sensual seduction scenes I've ever seen. Just gorgeous. 4.5/5

The Circus

For a Chaplin film this is so bittersweet - almost melancholy - and yet so joyous & lovely. I adore this man, truly. 5/5

A Warrior's Heart

Poorly acted, saccharine, trite, badly written, predictable, lazy, & preachy... that enough of a review? Bleh. 2/5
