Vexille

OK idea, big plot holes, beautiful background animation but the characters looked awful. Uncanny valley on display. 2 stars.

Batman:Under The Red Hood

Good. Dark. Tragic, with that Sisyphean flavor that all the good Bat stories have. 4.5 stars.

I'm Still Here

DUDE. I was still questioning what was real until I saw the extras. Joaquim is a fucking genius. Seriously. And the people involved? WOW. That was ambitious shit. Casey Affleck has ALL the talent. WOW 4.5/5

You know what? Just as good as '87 Predator. I actually bought Brody as an action guy. 4 stars. It were fun times.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer

"Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" - I can't imagine how this movie was ever scary & thrilling - to me it's just cheestastic. Honestly, this was bad. "Man Bites Dog" is SUCH a vast improvement on a theme. Don't waste your time with this. 1/5

A Fistful of Dollars

Leone had 200k to make this (like 1.4mil today) Solid "gunfighter comes to town and cleans up" story. 3.5 stars. How does Clint Eastwood look tough wearing a Mexican rug? Not even Chuck Norris could pull that off.

Day of the Dead (2008)

This is about the remake from 2008. Fucking horrible. Just frigging terrible. Nothing makes any sense and the writing is AWFUL. Can you give negative stars? Negative five stars.

Quarantine

OK if you never saw [REC], otherwise, meh. Mistake to show camera guy's face. Too much explaining. 3 stars. Jennifer Carpenter's panic attack was epic & good. BUT: The camera guy was a stand-in for us (the viewer). If we meet him, that spell is broken.
