The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

This sequel is every bit as charming & lovely as the first, wonderful acting as always. 4/5

Philomena

This Frears drama is beautiful, poignant & emotional with wonderful acting, but Best Picture worthy it's not. Don't get me wrong - it's a fantastic film. But I expect a level of immortality in a nominee & I don't think Philomena had it. 4/5

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

J. Edgar

I actually found this "bio pic" of Hoover & DiCaprio's acting in it quite solid & interesting throughout. 3.5/5

My Week with Marilyn

Michelle Williams divinely channels a goddess in this beautiful, sentimental look at a lost legend. 4.5/5
