The Wolf of Wall Street

DiCaprio is brilliant in this lush & quite funny biopic, that, while it could use editing in places, really had me engaged and laughing. Jonah Hill was also just marvelous. Geniunely wonderful - someone give Leo an Oscar already.

This is absolutely beautiful but very hollow - great style with little substance. It had heart but no soul. Despite saying that I still really enjoyed it - it's a lush, intoxicating film that I would recommend, & Leo is just phenomenal. 3.5/5

Django Unchained

The marvelous acting barely makes up for the indulgence & arduous length of this gratuitous action flick. Will someone get Quentin an editor already? That was three movies crammed into one. So frustrating to watch. The acting was fabulous though, I have to say that. Everyone in the cast was amazing, which is why it even has 3 stars. 3/5

Absolutely brilliant - one of the most masterfully constructed films possibly ever made. I loved every minute. 5/5
