What a surprise! This wasn't what I expected at all - a very poignant, heart-wrenching & lovely coming-of-age film. This film also had one of the most beautiful & sensual seduction scenes I've ever seen. Just gorgeous. 4.5/5

Bloodworth
All the bones of a good Southern Gothic were there but it lacked the dark punch it needed to really succeed. Shame. 3/5
