Honestly, I don't mind campy cult films, but this was so out-of-this-world bad I only made it about thirty minutes in before I has to just turn it off. WAAAAAY too over the top for me. Just.... no. 1/5

Blue Hawaii
This is my second Elvis film, and I'm still torn about him. This was better to me than "Jailhouse Rock" was. It was fun and silly and played to all of Elvis' strengths as a performer and actor. The problem for me wasn't him, it was the insipid film. There was virtually no plot to speak of, the acting was all pretty terrible, and some of the musical numbers came so out of left field I was left scratching my head. I guess I'm looking for something in between the two films. I want a comedy, but one with a plot and at least some kind of character movement. Does such a thing exist in Elvis' catalog? If so, point me to it, because I'm really hoping to find something I like better than what I've seen thus far. 3/5

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown
Not my favorite Almodóvar but very quick, witty, deadpan & well acted. I enjoyed it. 3/5

I'm So Excited
This Almodovar comedy is quite raunchy & funny, a real farcical delight of a film. I'm becoming a fan. 3.5/5

Delicatessen
Without a doubt the strangest surrealist French post-apocalyptic cannibal movie even made. With clown, of course. 4/5

Bruno
Wow - "Borat" this ain't. There was a little funny here, but honestly I found most of it either banal or offensive. Boo. 1.5/5

A fabulous rom-com that's zany, off-the-wall and hilarious. Patrick Stewart is perfection. 3.5/5
